The best night markets in Phuket
Phuket and Bangkok are famous for markets – Some people try to hide Phuket as it’s quiet touristy and most of the markets do sell the same items. If you’re going to Visit Phuket, I’d like to break down my favourite three markets which are less touristy and they do have second hand clothing as well, which I personally find pretty interesting as you see unique clothing from the 80s and 90s.
My favourite cozy market is Chillva Market. It’s a small market close to Phuket Town with lots of locals and Live Musicians. You will find many unique food corners and beautiful container shops for a little shopping experience. The prices are really affordable. Grab your food and hang out on the stage, listening to the live music and let your mind calm.
Location : 141/2 Yaowarat Road, Phuket Town, Phuket, Thailand
This market is quite Touristy but it does have EVERYTHING you can imagine. From clothing, shoes, second hand crafts, clothes, jewellery, DVD’s as wel as nailshops and big food areas. The market is open during the weekend and perfect to hang out around for Dinner and a little Shopping Tour through the little stalls.
Location : Chao Fa West Road, Phuket Town, Phuket 83000, Thailand
Tipp : Do remember this one is busier because of its location!
This Market is really small as well and it’s similar to the Chillva Market. Its location is at the Limestone Centre next to Phuket Oldtown. It’s a really nice atmosphere with lots of locals and students selling their second hand clothes.
Location : Dee Book Tad Mai Road, Phuket Town, Phuket, Thailand
